A Native New Yorker, a Harlem business owner for 20 plus years, HECTOR BURBON, JR.’s life took an artistic twist at the young age of 65. 

A drywall specialist by trade, skilled in all aspects of construction, BURBON excels in drywall, commercial and residential retro upgrades, restoring and healing homes, cement / micro-cement design, refurbishing walls and high-end fireplaces. 

It was BURBON's quick learn and understanding of micro-cement techniques that catapulted him from construction projects into the art world by implementing his unique art form, one that he originated, to begin creating unique, individual designs that express his variety of thoughts and concepts, political and non-political.

BURBON, who credits "hard work" as the passageway to his successful, his longevity. is also a mentor to many in the Harlem community. He teaches youth work skills, skills in construction, as well as financial literacy and sustainability.

As an employer, BURBON identifies those skilled in the areas of construction, matching them with jobs that are available, and or training those that are capable.

Now, also recognized as an artist, one with a special, unique talent, BURBON, using his new, "micro-cement" technique, is now being invited to display his work in upscale art shows. There is great interests from collectors, and he's being featured in various, New York City galleries, and at some of the same places that he's sold his work on Harlem streets.
